With Australia now working through its three-step road map to easing restrictions, we are all now in a position to put a much greater focus on the immediate future. Australia is working hard to minimise the spread of COVID-19 with robust social distancing measures, some of the world’s highest testing rates and a widely downloaded COVIDSafe App.

Roadmap to a COVIDSafe Australia

The Australian Government’s detailed 3-step COVIDSafe Roadmap includes plans for universities to increase face-to-face learning where possible and allow international students to enter Australia as soon as possible.

WHAT UNIVERSITIES ARE DOING

As part of the COVIDSafe roadmap, education providers are working on plans to welcome students back to campuses in phases from mid-August. If you’re not sure what your university has planned Study in Australia has a helpful directory.

STUDENTS CAN PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE

While there is still uncertainty with travel for international students, our NO TRAVEL offer will allow them to secure a room for Semester 2 now and defer their contract start date until travel bans between their country and Australia are lifted.
