It’s easy to book and come live at Iglu…

We’re all about choice. That’s why it’s nice and easy for you to secure a place at one of our cool student accommodation locations in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.

So have a look around the site to learn more about what it’s like to live at Iglu and choose where you want to live and what type of room is right for you. Once you’ve done that and you’re ready to book online, just follow the steps below.

Select your room type

You can choose your own private bedroom in a share apartment or you can live by yourself in a studio or one bedroom apartment. Either way, your room will be fully-furnished – bed, desk, chair and much more – you just need to bring your own personal touches.

Decide how long to stay

Different properties have different options and available contract lengths are shown on each room page. For full details, you can review our guide to contract dates. If you are looking to stay less then 6 months, head to our Short Stays section for options.

Tell us about you

We need to collect some information from you. Remember, you need to be a student to live with us at Iglu. You should also review our age requirements to ensure you meet them. The standard minimum age for students living at Iglu is 18, but some exceptions apply.

Pay your holding deposit

To complete your booking, you need to pay one week’s rent upfront. This will be treated as your first rent payment once you move in. You can pay by credit / debit card* or direct deposit. Don’t forget to review our Cancellations and Refunds Policy before you get started.

Look out for a confirmation email

We will be in touch shortly after receiving your booking to confirm your details, walk you through the steps for finalising your full rental agreement through our Iglu Portal, answer any further questions you might have and provide additional information about living at Iglu.

We have tried to keep our booking process nice and simple, but we know you might still have some questions along the way and we’re here to help if you do. Our FAQs might have the answer. If not, you can always jump onto LiveChat or contact your preferred property.

It’s that easy. Our simple process means you don’t have to provide a record of previous rental history – you don’t even need to have prior experience in renting a property!

* We don’t apply credit card and debit card surcharges to holding deposits (one weeks’ rent) when paid on the Iglu website however a surcharge will apply to all future credit card and debit card payments. Currently this surcharge is 2% of the payment amount but is subject to change. This applies to Visa (including Visa Debit), Mastercard (including Mastercard Debit) and Amex.

No visa, no offer, no pay

No visa? No offer? That’s cool. You can still reserve a room and we will refund your holding deposit if you don’t get an Australian student visa or you don’t gain entry to your intended course of study.
