International Students Returning to Australia

We look forward to welcoming you back!

In response to global concern around the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron, the Australian Government has announced that the return of international students will be delayed until 15 December 2021.

If you were due to arrive in Australia and in move into Iglu prior to 15 December 2021, don’t worry, you can defer your contract start date until the latest restrictions are lifted with our No Travel offer. Please contact the team at your Iglu property to discuss.

When travel to Australia does resume for international students, you will need to comply with the pre- and post-arrival requirements outlined below.

Under the new arrangements, you must:

  • Be fully vaccinated with a completed dosage of a vaccine approved or recognised by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration
  • Provide proof of your vaccination status
