Living cool in Chatswood
On Saturday, 1 February, Iglu opened the doors to its latest student accommodation development in Chatswood and welcomed student residents to their sparkling new home.
With 395 fully furnished share apartment and studio rooms and abundant communal facilities, Iglu Chatswood is the latest in Iglu’s line of new-generation off-campus student properties and follows the design award winning Iglu Central at Broadway.
The property is purpose designed for students and all rooms come with private en suite bathroom, air conditioning, high speed internet and all utilities are included in the single weekly rental fee. Iglu Chatswood also offers students a wide range of recreation and study spaces, regular student events and 24-hour on-site support and security.
“As an off-campus accommodation provider, our aim is to provide students with a hospitality service that underpins study, social lifestyle and city exploration. This means immediate access to public transport, shops, restaurants, cheap eats, bars and fitness clubs. In over 10 years of managing student accommodation, I haven’t seen a better location for students,” says Sally Ward, Iglu’s Operations General Manager.
Located alongside Chatswood railway station, Iglu Chatswood appeals to students studying across Sydney. It is 10 minutes by train to Macquarie University and Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) in North Ryde, 15 minutes to North Sydney and 20 minutes to Sydney’s CBD. This makes it convenient to Australian Catholic University, the University of Sydney, the University of Technology Sydney and many other colleges and schools.
