• What are you studying?

  Bachelor of Commerce

• Why did you choose to study in Melbourne, Australia?

  I chose to come to Australia to broaden my horizons and to try studying abroad. It is a good cultural experience! I choose Melbourne largely due to the reason of the ranking of the university.

• What is your favourite thing about being a student?

  My favourite thing about being a student is the fact that I have opportunities to engage with other fellow students. Students are all brilliant minds just waiting to interact and share. Hence, I feel like this opportunity to understand each other and engage with like-minded, similar age group people is invaluable and truly a good thing.

• What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

  Hanging out with friends and checking out new cafes. Hitting the gym, or watching Netflix!

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  I see myself working towards a masters in Melbourne. I would like to stay in Melbourne and hopefully pursue a career here as I have grown to like this place very much.

• Why did you decide to become a Resident Leader (RL)?|

  I decided to become a Resident Leader to help students. To understand more about how I can extend my help to our fellow residents who may not be able to seek help directly from the management due to social anxieties. I would like to be their point of contact and their friend. In addition, I would like to further improve myself.

• What is your favourite thing about being a Resident Leader (RL)?

  My favourite thing about being a resident leader is the bond with the residents. Having a good chat with any resident always makes things happier. In addition, being able to bring fun events for the residents and seeing their joy and delighted faces always warms my heart.

• What is your favourite thing about Iglu?

  My favourite thing about Iglu is the vibes, ambience, the friends, the community and the management. The whole support system at Iglu is simply amazing and something that differentiates Iglu from other student accommodations.

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Hmm, some words or wisdom would be, go to the events. It is always the best thing to do when you are free from school work. Iglu events are absolutely amazing and fun times.
