• Hi Nalin! What are you studying?

  Medical Science

• Why did you choose to study in Australia?

  Because of the great lifestyle, beaches, weather and to try something new!

• Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

  Iglu has great facilities that I did not see anywhere else and they are really clean, and very well looked after. The living environment feels so homey and safe with lots of community spaces with someone always around. Also, when I came to do a tour when I was deciding, the staff was outstandingly nice and that has not changed.

• What is your favourite thing about being a student?

  I love being able to decide my own schedule! As a student, apart from classes obviously, you have a lot of freedom to arrange your day how you would like to. I can study when I would like, do my uni work whenever is fitting and have free time when I would like. When the weather is amazing I can decide to go to the beach during the day and do my uni work during the night and I love that.

• What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

  Go for long walks at the beach.

• So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

  I love being able to hear what events people would like and that make that come true.

• What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?

  The tables in front of study room 4! I love the plants there so you can always find me there 🙂

• Describe your favourite thing about Iglu?

  The facilities like the gym and roof and being an RL.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  Being a doctor or starting my own business in the medical/health field. Possibly back in Europe or Singapore and traveling A LOT.

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Always keep a smile on your face, bring good vibes everywhere and be nice to everyone because it will pay off 🙂
