• What are you studying?

  Bachelor of Accounting

• Why did you choose to study in Australia?

  I wanted to learn to become more independent, social, and meet new friends from different backgrounds. Australia also offers a diverse culture and a high quality of education.

• Why did you choose to study in Sydney?

  Sydney has a multicultural society which I was able to adapt to easily. There are also many diverse festivals and events to experience, breathtaking landscapes, amazing beaches and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

• What’s your favourite thing about being a student?

  Being able to learn and improve myself and my knowledge, exploring new places at any time, making new friends from both inside and outside my university and Iglu.

• What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not studying?

  Watching movies or TV dramas, chilling out and walking along the beach taking in the beautiful view and the fresh air, saying “how wonderful the day is!”, having tea or hanging out with friends, shopping, sleeping, and sometimes a bit of exercise!

• What’s your favourite thing about Iglu?

  Having friendly helpful people and staff always around.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  Either working as an accountant somewhere in Australia or maybe a teacher, or perhaps I’ll still be working at Iglu helping more residents!

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Change always happens, learn to roll with it, laugh a lot and have fun as you are never alone.
