• What are you studying?

  Bachelor of Laws/Creative Industries

• Why did you choose to study in Brisbane?

  I chose to study something a little unconventional and QUT was one of the few universities in Australia to offer my degree. I have always had a soft spot for Brisbane, it feels like a big country town at heart.

• What’s your favourite thing about being a student?

  My favorite thing about being a student is to have the opportunity to learn about new things and develop skills that will be useful down the road.

• What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not studying?

  I love exploring Brisbane and finding hidden treasures in the surrounding suburbs. Other good pastimes are hanging out with friends, dancing and drinking all the coffee I can stomach.

• What’s your favourite thing about Iglu?

  There is a strong sense of community at Iglu. As you walk past reception every day, attend events or even just do your laundry (after enough procrastination) there is always a friendly face to greet you.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  It’s hard to say with certainty. After graduation, I am looking to work within a law firm and decide on my area of specialisation within fashion law. I think intellectual property or environmental law could be really interesting!

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself and get involved in activities outside of uni. This time is where you meet new people, work out what is important to you and create lasting stories to share.
