  • Why did you choose to study in Australia?

    I chose to study in Australia because it strongly emphasizes sustainability and environmental protection. The country offers many practical examples, from renewable energy projects to conservation initiatives, which provide valuable real-life case studies. Learning in this context helps me connect theory with practice and gain insights directly applicable to my future career in sustainability.

  • Why did you choose to study in Sydney?

    I chose to study in Sydney because it is one of the most modern and vibrant cities in Australia, offering a dynamic environment for both learning and living. The university here has an excellent reputation and strong global ranking, which ensures high-quality education. Additionally, Sydney’s pleasant weather and beautiful surroundings make it an ideal place to balance study and lifestyle.

  • Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

    I chose to live at Iglu based on a friend’s recommendation, as they had a great experience here. Iglu is clean, well-maintained, and offers a range of vibrant events that make student life more engaging. I also appreciate the strong sense of community among residents, which creates a welcoming and supportive living environment.

  • What is your favourite thing about being a student?

    My favourite thing about being a student is having the flexibility to explore different parts of Australia during semester breaks and weekends. It allows me to experience the country’s diverse culture, nature, and lifestyle while studying.

  • What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

    My favourite thing to do when I’m not studying is cafe hopping. The coffee in Australia is amazing, and there’s always a new spot to try—I never get tired of it!

  • So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

    My favourite thing about being a Resident Leader is getting to brainstorm and create fun event ideas. Through organizing these events, I’ve had the chance to meet many people, build connections, and make great friends.

  • What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?

    Definitely the flexi space!

  • Describe your favourite thing about Iglu?

    The events every week, and the friendly people here!

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

    A consultancy company in either HK or AUS.

  • What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

    “Risk it to make it.” Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone—join events, meet new people, and try new things. That’s how you’ll make the most of your time at Iglu!
