• Why did you choose to study in Australia?

  Cultural diversity and the chance to experience a whole new lifestyle. Australia offers a balanced way of living, which really appealed to me.

• Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

  The staff are super friendly, the facilities, safety, and convenience, especially being so close to uni, make it a really good choice.

• What is your favourite thing about being a student?

  My favourite thing about being a student is the freedom to learn and grow. Every semester brings something new — new people, new challenges, and new opportunities.

• What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

  I love running, watching and rewatching movies, and exploring new food spots.

• So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

  Hosting events, meeting many new faces, and being part of an RL team that I absolutely love!

• What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?

  The study rooms.

• Describe your favourite thing about Iglu?

  I love the sense of community. It’s easy to meet people from different cultures, and the events make everyone feel included.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  I see myself building a career I’m proud of, gaining more experience in my field, and hopefully living independently in a city I love.

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Get involved and don’t be shy! The more you participate, the more fun and meaningful your time here will be. Make friends, ask for help when you need it, and enjoy the balance between study and life. Everything happens for a reason!
