• What are you studying?

  Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing)

• Why did you choose to study in Sydney?

  What attracted me to complete my studies in Sydney was the locality, and opportunities to expand my network in a faster-paced environment.

• What is your favourite thing about being a student?

  Connecting with like-minded and passionate students from diverse backgrounds, and developing my learning.

• What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

  When living away from home it is crucial to get involved in extra-curricular activities to help make new connections, establish some normality and positively dedicate your time. This semester I am involved with Macquarie University sporting teams and am the Sponsorship Director of a student society.

• What is your favourite thing about Iglu?

  I love how approachable everyone is, from the Iglu staff, to the fellow University students. Also, the monthly events hosted by Iglu are also extremely worthwhile, and enhance that sense of community feeling.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  Ideally gaining experience within the legal profession as an in-house lawyer, or kick starting my own personal business venture.

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Some advice would be that there is ‘no comfort in change, and no change in comfort’… so embrace opportunities, and whilst living independently can be challenging, it is a challenge worth investing in.
