• Why did you choose to study in Sydney?

  I felt there were better education and future job opportunities in Sydney compared to Newcastle.

• What’s your favourite thing about being a student?

  Improving myself and sharing experiences with fellow students.

• What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not studying?

  Napping! And having a few drinks with mates while relaxing with some games or a movie.

• What’s your favourite thing about Iglu?

  The community is very friendly and inviting especially with fun social events such as bubble soccer or zoo trips.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  I’ll have graduated my degree and be working as a Systems Designer or Project Manager.

• What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

  Go to events and put yourself out there. I had basically no solid group of friends when I first arrived in Sydney, but after attending events I’ve made great friendships with people I hang out with nearly every day at Iglu.
