Why did you choose to study in Australia?
I chose to study in Australia because its universities have strong international reputations while experiencing a multicultural environment and welcoming atmosphere. I wanted to study somewhere I could experience diversity while also receiving an excellent education.

Why did you choose to live in Sydney?
I chose Sydney because of the amazing weather and gorgeous beaches.

Why did you choose to live at Iglu?
I chose to live at Iglu because they are known for being safe, stable, and student-friendly. It’s important for me to stay in a place where I can focus on my goals while feeling supported.

What is your favourite thing about being a student?
My favourite thing about being a student is the combination of learning, personal growth, and meeting new people. And also the FREEDOM of having my own plans.

What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?
I love exploring new matcha and brunch spots. I am loving the matcha from Outta Coffee. And my favourite brunch spot so far is The Brother’s Cafe in Darling Square.

So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?
Having a wonderful team of Management and Resident Leaders surrounding me and guiding me through this role. Every time I feel lonely, I would head to the front desk and just chat to them about my day.

What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?
The gym!!

Describe your favourite thing about Iglu?
Definitely the complimentary breakfast and gym!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I see myself working in a position where I can apply the skills I’ve gained through the Resident Leader role and living overseas myself, and continue growing professionally. I hope to contribute to meaningful projects and keep developing my expertise.

What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?
Keep a good balance between study and social life. Iglu makes it easy to focus, but it also gives you plenty of chances to relax and enjoy your time. Make the most out of your university and college life because it passes real fast.
