  • Why did you choose to study in Melbourne?

    Melbourne is the closest major Australian city to Geelong and seemed like the most reasonable and fun place for me to attend university.

  • Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

    I chose to live at Iglu because of the great regional scholarship program they offered as well as the excellent location in proximity to my university.

  • What is your favourite thing about being a student?

    My favorite thing about being a student is being able to meet new people from a variety of different backgrounds.

  • What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

    My favorite thing to do when not studying is hanging out with friends. Honestly it is the best part of university life. We humans are social beings so you might as well BE SOCIAL.

  • So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

    My favorite thing about being an RL is the opportunity to organise fantastic events for the residents in the building.

  • What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?

    My go-to spot for studying is the study area on level 1. It is quiet and perfect for when I want to focus on my studies.

  • What is your favourite thing about Iglu?

    My favorite thing about Iglu would have to be the exceptionally friendly staff. It truly is the people that make Iglu feel like home for me.

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

    I see myself working in Canberra for the Australian government in an international security field.

  • What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

    Get to know the people in your building through events and breakfasts. You will have a lot more fun this way.
