  • Why did you choose to study in Australia?

    Australia is one of the front leaders in ecology, providing smart decisions for urban and regional development, so I wanted to get knowledge from the best.

  • Why did you choose to study in Sydney?

    My residence choice was based on location of my university.

  • Why did you choose to live at Iglu?

    By the late time of my arrival that was one of few available options and with convenient location.

  • What is your favourite thing about being a student?

    My favourite thing to do in uni is communicate with other international students like I am and do research with professional supervision.

  • What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

    After classes I like reading books at home, and on free days do short trips to local eco-trails, explore exhibitions or concerts, snorkel in the ocean.

  • So you’re a Resident Leader. What’s your favourite thing about being an RL?

    My favourite thing about being a RL is making food and sharing it with other people, as well as get good exprerience in decision making and problem solving.

  • What’s your go-to spot for studying or relaxing at Iglu?

    Usually I study in my room so that I can turn on music outloud or for more concentrated study visit libraries.

  • Describe your favourite thing about Iglu?

    I like supportive community and management system among staff (And free breakfasts)

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

    I see myself leading sustainable projects in Australia and beyond, taking part in conferences and travelling around the world.

  • What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?

    Be kind and respectful to each other, you never know what other person is experiencing at the moment, so make sure to acknowledge your help if needed. Also if you witness inappropriate behaviour, don’t hesitate to share insights
