Why did you choose to study in Australia?
I have visited Sydney many times in the 2010’s and I really love the city landscape and how chill everyone is. My father also went to Deakin University in Melbourne so he was happy for me to pursue higher education in Australia as well. -
Why did you choose to study in Sydney?
As mentioned before, the city landscape is gorgeous and the people are amazing. Once I moved here I was more amazed by the very relaxed and civil working culture (: -
Why did you choose to live at Iglu?
Iglu Central Park is located in a very convenient location, with a shopping mall filled with entertainment and Woolies just around the corner. It is also within walking distance to USYD! During my first inspection, I knew I would enjoy living at Iglu. The building layout is beautiful, equipped with various common areas like the theatre room, games room, study rooms, etc… There are also many weekly social events and a breakfast bar, and I could not say no to new friends and free food! -
What is your favourite thing about being a student?
Having the freedom to try anything I want, not being restrained by strict working hours, pursuing my studies at a beautiful campus alongside peers of the same demographic! -
What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?
I like to relax by playing League of Legends with friends at Fortress located in Central Park Mall! -
So you're a Resident Leader. What's your favourite thing about being an RL?
I get to work with a great team, and create fun and rewarding weekly events for residents to enjoy. -
What is your favourite thing about Iglu?
The Iglu lobby! That's where everyone usually gathers and the open space is very pretty! -
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I am hoping to become a Senior Business Analyst in Sydney! (And hopefully be able to apply for an Australian Citizenship by then...) -
What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?
Work hard (and smart)! Make lots of friends and don't forget to take care of yourself.

What are you studying?

Why did you choose to study in Australia?
I wanted to challenge myself and finish my tertiary degree at one of the world's top 50 universities. Sydney is the most developed and metropolitan city in Australia. -
Why did you choose to study in Sydney?
It was an easy choice once I was accepted into the University of Sydney. -
What's your favourite thing about being a student?
It is all about learning how to be what I want to be in next 10 years. Being student is a pathway to reach my future vision. Furthermore, not only studying at university, it is also about learning how to socialise in different cultures and norms. These facets of being student are absolutely my favourite things. -
What's your favourite thing to do when you're not studying?
Hanging out with my friends. -
What’s your favourite thing about Iglu?
Meeting new people in a diverse environment. -
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I'll be in Tokyo running a business as a young entrepreneur. -
What words of wisdom would you pass on to future Iglu residents?
Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

If you are an international student, why did you choose to study in Australia?
I chose to study in Australia because I fell in love with this country when I came to visit for a holiday when I was 8. I remember telling my parents how I would definitely want to come back in the future. 10 years later, here I am studying in Australia. The weather here is amazing and not forgetting the clear and blue skies. AND THE BEACH OH MY -
Why did you choose to study in Sydney?
I chose Sydney as my mom worked here for about 3 years when she was 25 and she said that she really enjoyed herself here and made many good friends. I also have relatives that are currently living in Sydney as well. -
What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?
Sleeping, hanging out with friends, watching shows/movies and SHOPPING -
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A successful physiotherapist that is able to hep as many people as I can and a volunteer to help people in less developed countries. -
What is your favourite thing about being a student?
Being a student, we have a lot of time that we can decide what to do with it and also we only have one main responsibility which is just to study. -

Super friendly and always willingly to help staff
