Cool design. Warm hospitality. Best locations.

Design is at the heart of what we do. Shown in the locations we select, the award winning* architecture of our properties, and even the bespoke details of each shared communal space or private resident room. We believe that our warm hospitality creates a positive and welcoming environment for our residents, as we support them to develop and grow as individuals. Our locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane have been selected to help our residents get the best of both worlds – easy access to campus, while still being able to get out and enjoy the best of city living.

It all began in 2010…

…when our executive directors had a shared vision to create Australia’s coolest purpose-built student accommodation. They teamed up and founded Iglu, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Community-focused team

Iglu prides itself on attracting and retaining a highly talented and community-focused team. This is achieved through a values-driven culture that is nurtured at all levels of the business.

A cool place to work

Iglu brings innovative ideas and outstanding finished products to the highly competitive student accommodation sector.

We currently operate over 4,500 beds across 11 properties in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with a further 1,500 plus beds in development.

Our team members undertake roles in operations, property, hospitality, human resources, sales and marketing, facilities management, development and construction, and finance.

At the property level, our customer experience supports our promise of warm hospitality and fosters environments where students can live their best life.

We want the same our Iglu team. In a nutshell, we want Iglu to be not only a cool place to live, but a cool place to work.
